The aims of the Barnhill St Margaret’s Playgroup are centred on the curriculum laid down by the Scottish Government:

1.    To offer a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

2.    To provide high quality care and education to meet every child's individual needs.

3.    To encourage independence, confidence and self-esteem.

4.    To work in partnership with parents/carers, incorporating their ideas and thoughts.

5.    To offer everyone associated with the group respect and values of cultural diversity.

6.    To inform parents/carers of their child's progress through both regular one-to-one contact and written documents.

7.    Children thrive and learn best when playing.  We provide structured, adult-led and child initiated activities.

8.    To listen and act upon the needs and choices of our children.

9.    To provide a positive contribution to the local community.
